Staff Training:
Michele provides staff development and in services on a range of topics such as language development, typical vs atypical development, activities to enhance social and language skills in the classroom. Staff development topics can be tailored to meet the needs of your staff.
Consultation:
Observation of your classroom. Strategies to aid staff with students you have identified as having additional needs will be provided. Recommendations for further assessment will be made as needed.
Child Services:
Individual Therapy
Facilitated Play Dates:
A structured play date designed to teach and enhance social and play skills in your child’s environment. Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly.
Parent/Family Consultation:
In home therapy session to provide families with strategies to facilitate language, social and or play skills in a variety of daily activities. Sessions can be weekly, biweekly or monthly.
Consultation to Schools:
- Observation of your child in their classroom setting and recommendations to teachers as to how to incorporate your child’s goals into classroom activities.
- Participation in IEP meetings.
- Direct therapy provided in pre-school or day care setting
Feeding/ Mealtime Consultations
Observation of your child’s mealtimes and assessment of strengths and challenges. Recommendations and strategies can include mechanics of eating, ways to increase variety of diet, sensory or behavioral concerns with the goal to make mealtime more enjoyable for the family.
